Terms of Service

1. The Service and Closed Beta

Audioland provides AI-generated audio guides for locations and points of interest. The Service is currently in a "Closed Beta" phase. This means the Service is provided "AS IS" and may contain bugs, errors, or experience downtime. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time without notice.

2. Accounts and Registration

To use the Service, you must register using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Tokens and 3-Day Passes

• Virtual Goods: The Service utilizes a virtual currency ("Tokens") and time-limited access ("Passes"). Tokens and Passes have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
• Consumption: Tokens are consumed immediately upon requesting an audio generation (1 token for a short story, 1 additional token for an extended dive).
• Expiration: While purchased Tokens do not expire, a 3-Day Pass expires exactly 72 hours after the first audio is played using that Pass.

4. Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns regarding payments.

5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The audio narrations and historical facts provided by Audioland are generated in real-time using third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI).

• Accuracy Not Guaranteed: While we strive for high quality, AI can make mistakes (hallucinations). We do not guarantee the historical accuracy, current opening hours, safety, or logistical correctness of the audio provided.
• User Responsibility: You use the information at your own risk. Audioland is not liable for missed flights, closed museums, or any other travel disruptions caused by relying on the AI-generated content.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Audioland and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.
